Samitha Priyadarshana Appuhamy is a finance and audit professional with experience in accounting, internal auditing, and financial management across diverse sectors. He holds professional qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, having completed the CAB II level.
He has built his career through hands-on experience in audit and finance functions, including audit training at Wijerathna & Company, where he was involved in financial reporting, reconciliations, statutory tax compliance, and internal audit assignments across a wide range of industries. He has also gained experience in banking and corporate finance environments, contributing to accounting operations and financial controls.
Currently, he holds senior management responsibilities in the financial services sector, overseeing investment portfolios and administrative functions, while also serving in directorial roles across group companies. His expertise includes financial analysis, audit processes, and operational oversight.
With a strong foundation in accounting and practical exposure to financial systems, he contributes to strengthening governance, financial discipline, and strategic decision-making within the organization.
