M. N. H. Nashwaq is a highly experienced finance professional with over 20 years of expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and corporate administration across the Sri Lankan financial services sector.
He currently serves as Assistant General Manager – Finance & Administration at Monik International (Pvt) Ltd, where he oversees group-wide financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance. His role includes close coordination with banks, auditors, and investment institutions, as well as monitoring branch performance and strengthening internal financial controls.
Mr. Nashwaq has previously held senior leadership roles, including Head of Finance at Bimputh Finance PLC, where he played a key role in financial strategy, organizational growth, and operational efficiency. His career progression from Accounts Assistant to senior leadership reflects strong technical expertise and proven leadership capabilities.
He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka and holds professional qualifications in management accounting and microfinance, including certifications from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (CMA) and Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
Known for his strong decision-making skills, adaptability, and ability to manage complex financial environments, he brings strategic insight and operational discipline to support sustainable business growth.
